Androidx. AndroidX is a major improvement to the original Android Support Library. We store copies of these dependencies to have hermetic builds.
The library comes with a Material theme that provides a consistent user. androidx.activity:activity androidx.activity:activity-compose androidx.activity:activity-ktx androidx.ads:ads-identifier androidx.ads:ads-identifier-common androidx .
Over the years, this library has grown in adoption as the majority of Android apps in the Google Play Store use the Support Library in some.
Using AndroidX is highly recommended: Pepper applications and libraries developed at SoftBank Robotics use it, and Google announced it as the new standard. This library manages the user interface and interacts with storage so that you define only the individual settings that the user can configure.
