Ethereum remains one of the most popular investment opportunities in the crypto market. The digital asset's returns have consistently outperformed those of its key rivals, making it not only a more profitable asset but also a better inflation hedge by today's standards. However, Ethereum price has been falling since the crash and has yet to revisit the $4,000 mark despite the recovery.
There are some optimistic predictions for the future of the digital asset. Some have even claimed that they are seeing ETH go as high as $12,000. However, others have a more conservative approach when it comes to forecasting Ethereum. A panel of fintech specialists recently estimated Ethereum’s price at $6,500 by the end of the year.
Ethereum on the way to 100%
Finder recently updated its Ethereum predictions using the predictions of a panel of fintech specialists. The panel had a positive outlook for the digital asset, which they valued at $6,500 by the end of the year, a price growth of over 100% from current values.
The same panel projected that the cryptocurrency will reach $10,810 by 2025. That price point has been predicted by others for 2022, but panellists give the asset three years to get there.
Longer term, Ethereum forecasts are just as optimistic. They estimate the price of Ethereum at $26,338 by the end of this decade.
“Ethereum is expected to hit $10,810 by 2025 before more than doubling to $26,338 by 2030, according to the panel's average forecast,” Finder wrote.
While this year's numbers were generally optimistic, they fell short of the same panel's predictions from last year. The panel, composed of 33 fintech specialists, had estimated the price of Ethereum at $15,364 by 2025 and $50,788 by 2030.
Finder has also outlined that the panel's sentiment was generally positive for the asset, with the majority believing that the current price is a good time to buy Ethereum .
