Wisdoms of the East is a collection of short stories, poetry and letters centred on spirituality, philosophy and religion. It is divided into four chapters that represent the spiritual quest of different characters, mainly Abdullah and the king. Abdullah’s spiritual journey is aided by his grandfather, who guides him in knowing important lessons on reason, passion, self-knowledge and religion. The king is aided by his slave, Mustafa, who helps him reach his inner spiritual self.
