Bitcoin hashrate pumps over 30 percent in one day

 

Mining for digital coins is booming like never before: The Bitcoin hash rate once again reported a new high of around 248 EH/s.

Bitcoin hashrate recorded a new all-time high of around 248.1 EH/s on Feb. 12. Bitcoin price is around $42,239 at the time of writing.

According to the raw data from Blockchain.com , the accumulated computing power in the Bitcoin network reached around 188.4 EH/s the day before. The hash rate shows a growth of over 30 percent within 24 hours.

The fear that the digital miners would run on the back burner due to the ban in China and the politically tense situation in Kazakhstan has not come true. On the contrary: the mining business is booming like never before.
